Chevy 23 Degree Aluminum Head

 

Why buy a cast iron head when you can have these complete and assembled Trick Flow aluminum heads for a few bucks more. Standard valve angles make this a direct replacement head for anyone wanting to upgrade to more power. Features one piece stainless steel valves with 2.02” intake and 1.60” exhaust valves, 195cc intake ports, 75cc exhaust ports and 64cc combustion chambers. Available with 3 different spring sizes. These 23 degree heads come fully assembled with valves, valve springs, locks, retainers, rocker arm studs, hardened head bolt washers and guideplates. They can also be modified for steam holes for 400 small blocks by following the enclosed instructions. These heads will make more power than GM L98 Corvette aluminum heads, Dart’s Iron Eagle and World Product’s Sportsman II cast iron heads. Price is per set. Bare heads are available. Chevy Twisted Wedge G2 Aluminum Head

 

Trick Flow’s Twisted Wedge will produce 50 more horsepower than Corvette L98 aluminum heads on a 350 cubic inch small block. The key to making this horsepower is in the patented, rotated valves angles. This un-shrouds the intake valve and moves the spark plug closer to the center of the cylinder. This creates a more complete burn of the incoming air/fuel charge. The 190cc intake ports and 82cc exhaust ports are a high velocity design with small cross-section runners on the intake, providing both low-rpm torque and high rpm horsepower. They feature 67cc combustion chambers and are available in early or late model versions and your choice of valve springs. They come fully assembled with 2.02” and 1.60” one piece stainless steel valves, 1.470” valve springs, 7 degree machined keepers and retainers, guide-plates , rocker arm studs, and hardened head bolt washers. They accept most aftermarket performance rocker arms, factory intake manifolds, most brands of headers, and factory bolt-on accessories. They feature CARB E.O. number D-369-2 for use in California. Special length pushrods are needed. With standard pistons they will handle cams up to .490” lift and 236 degree @ .050” on 110 lobe separation. G2 forged pistons are available from Trick Flow and will handle up to .601” cam in non-emission applications. Price is per set.

Twisted Wedge and Track Heat Aluminum Head

 

In dyno tests, a 5.0L Cobra engine equipped with Trick Flow’s Twisted Wedge heads, a GT-40 intake and E-303 cam made 328 horsepower and 354 ft/lbs of torque. That’s 78 more horsepower and 54 ft/lbs more torque than the stock Cobra engine and 10 horsepower and 2 ft/lbs more torque than the “old-style” Trick Flow high-port Ford heads. They feature high velocity 170cc intake ports, 66cc exhaust ports and 61cc combustion chambers. Patented rotated intake and exhaust valves are moved over towards the center of the bores. This unshrouds the valves and optimizes the valve locations, valve angles, and combustion chamber shape, while using stock intake and exhaust port locations. The .56” combustion chamber walls are designed for heavy duty use such as nitrous, blowers and turbos. The Twisted Wedge features 2.02” and 1.60” one piece stainless steel valves, 1.47” valve springs, 7 degree machined keepers and retainers, 3/8” rocker studs and guideplates. They will handle up to .540” with factory flat top pistons. These Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads are 50-state emissions-legal for 1996 and earlier 289, 302, and 351W Fords. Carb E.O. D-369-1. The Track Heat heads feature upgraded valve springs, 10 degree super locks and retainers, and 7/16” rocker studs for cams up to .625” with Trick Flow forged pistons. Price is per set.

These R Series heads are designed just for racing. They feature 206cc intake ports, 92cc raised exhaust ports and 61cc combustion chambers with patented rotated valve angles for increased flow and velocity. They are available bare or complete. A complete set with 2.08”/1.60” valves flows 305 cfm on the intake and 222 cfm on the exhaust out of the box. With a blend and polish these numbers increase to 325 cfm intake and 254 exhaust at .700” lift. They will take up to 2.130” intake and 1.625 exhaust valves. Complete heads come with 2.08/1.60 one piece stainless steel valves, 1.560” valve springs, 10 degree machined keepers and retainers, valve seats, and 5/16 guideplates.
